CUBE PRECAST – PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy (Policy) applies to Cube Precast Pty Ltd (ACN: 70 142 329 208) trading as Cube Precast and its related businesses and entities throughout Australia. We manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in Schedule 1 of the Privacy Act.

This Policy relates to any personal information we collect, hold, disclose, and/or use via our websites, internal systems, applications, intranet, or related social media pages (together referred to as “Websites” or “Applications”), including but not limited to:

“Sensitive Information” is a subset of Personal Information that includes details about an individual’s:

  • Religious or philosophical beliefs

  • Professional or trade association memberships

  • Trade union memberships

  • Sexual orientation or practices

  • Criminal record

  • Health, genetic, or biometric information

We do not collect Sensitive Information without your consent unless required or authorised by law or under other exceptions in the Privacy Act.

We may collect Personal Information directly from you when:

  • Requesting a quote or submitting an enquiry via our website

  • Purchasing products or services by phone, email, or in person

  • Submitting a credit account application

We may share anonymised or hashed portions of your data with these partners for purposes such as creating “Custom Audiences” or “Lookalike Audiences” for targeted advertising.

5. Direct Marketing & Behavioural Advertising

We may use Personal Information for promotional purposes, such as targeted advertising on social media or display networks. You may opt out of direct marketing at any time by contacting us (details below).

We use cookies and web pixels to track website usage, improve functionality, and deliver more relevant advertising. Cookies do not store personal details unless you choose to provide them.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose Personal Information to:

  • Related companies within Cube Precast

  • Service providers, contractors, and advisers

  • Insurers and credit providers

  • Persons authorised by you

  • Law enforcement or government agencies where required by law

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

7. Security of Information

We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Information may be stored in physical form or electronic systems, including secure cloud-based storage managed by third-party providers.

When no longer required, personal data will be destroyed or de-identified unless otherwise required by law. Most client files are kept for a minimum of seven years.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs or mishandled your personal information, please contact us in writing. We will review your complaint and respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
